Review: The Blue Dragon's War: an epic fantasy story
The Blue Dragon's War: an epic fantasy story by Sean Newton
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I read the first book in this series, and I loved it. I was a little disappointed in the editing of this book, however. There were words used mistakenly, such as, loose for lose, and similar errors. The story was great, and the characters were well fleshed out. There was quite a bit of fighting, which I love when it comes to fantasy stories. I will continue to read this series, because of the world and character building, but I hope the next installment is better edited.

Review: The Dragon King
The Dragon King by Anthony Russo
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved this short story. For this story to be so short, so many things happened. I was hooked from the first page. Anthony Russo and Alberto Bieri did an amazing job of creating a fantasy world. The world building was spectacular. I felt like I was amid the world the authors described. The character growth was amazing, and I felt as if I knew the characters personally. I'm eagerly waiting for more from these two authors.

Review: Cara's Twelve
Cara's Twelve by Chantel Seabrook
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I was excited about reading this story, but the more I read the more I disliked it. The lead character was a confused teenager that never learned anything on her way to becoming queen. This story had a lot of romance, which is not my cup of tea. I probably could have finished this book, if it weren't so horribly written. It is in dire need of editing. There were words where words shouldn't be, and words missing, or words repeated. The more I read the worse the writing became. The only recommendation that I can make is that people who enjoy romance might like this book.

Review: Nightwise
Nightwise by R.S. Belcher
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. When I started this book, I wasn't familiar with Chakra, secret societies, and some of the darkness within the pages of this book. I had to do some research on some of the topics, but once I familiarized myself, this book was easy to follow. It was, to me, a very dark story with action and suspense. While reading this story, my mind associated this book, if just a bit, with Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code. The story was fairly well written, though it was slow to start since I wasn't familiar, but this story pulled me in the more I read.

Review: The Twelve
The Twelve by Victoria Perkins
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I liked the way this book was written. It went back and forth with the two main characters telling their stories throughout the book with their stories intertwining. This book started off strong, but as the story progressed, it turned into a love story, which is not my cup of tea. It was written fairly well, but had some editing issues. I recommend this book to readers of love stories.

Review: Baad Dog
Baad Dog by Sal Conte
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This story started off strong, but as it progressed it lost some of the suspense that drew me in in the first place. I was disappointed in the ending. I felt it was a little rushed compared to the strong start. Also, this book needed some editing.

Review: Dragon's Future
Dragon's Future by Kandi J. Wyatt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Kandi J. Wyatt did a wonderful job creating a world full of intrigue. I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I loved the writing style, though this book needs to be edited. There were grammatical errors throughout the book. If not for the editing problem, this would have been an easy five stars for me. I'm looking forward to the next installment, though I hope there will be better editing.
